PRIVACY POLICY

Create IT Inc. (“Create IT“) operates createitinc.com and may operate other websites. It is Create IT's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, Create IT collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Create IT's purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Create IT's visitors use its website. From time to time, Create IT may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

Create IT also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on createitinc.com blogs/sites. Create IT only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below, except that commenter IP addresses and email addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the blog/site where the comment was left.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to Create IT's websites choose to interact with Create IT in ways that require Create IT to gather personally-identifying information. Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

Create IT discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Create IT's behalf or to provide services available at Create IT's websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Cookies

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor's computer, and that the visitor's browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. Create IT uses cookies to help Create IT identify and track visitors, their usage of Create IT website, and their website access preferences. Create IT visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using Create IT's websites, with the drawback that certain features of Create IT's websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

Business Transfers

What we collect and store

While you visit our site, we’ll track:
  • Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
  • Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
  • Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!
We’ll also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site.
When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:
  • Send you information about your account and order
  • Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
  • Process payments and prevent fraud
  • Set up your account for our store
  • Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes
  • Improve our store offerings

If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders.
We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it. For example, we will store order information for XXX years for tax and accounting purposes. This includes your name, email address and billing and shipping addresses.
We will also store comments or reviews, if you choose to leave them.

 

Who on our team has access

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:
  • Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
  • Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.
Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you.

We accept payments through PayPal and Stripe. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal or Stripe, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

Although most changes are likely to be minor, Create IT may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in Create IT's sole discretion. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
